quote of however-long-I-feel-like:

Suppose we have only dreamed, or made up, all those things - trees and grass and sun and moon and stars.

Suppose we have.

Then all I can say is that, in any case, the made - up things seem a good deal more important than the real ones.

dreams.

okay guys. how do i get rid of these weird dreams? they're fun, but throwing off my sleep schedule. yesterday i had a nap nightmare of this woman with a beautiful victorian home. it had my dream library. i was sold. she showed me her favorite book. it was a fairytale with the most amazing pictures. however, one of the gremlins in the book came to life and started pulling me into the book. i slipped from his grasp and started running. i got to the end of the street, but his super extending arms grabbed me and pulled me in. i tried holding on grass, cement, anything and everything around me. but it was no use.

and last night was just odd. horses do not belong at the dinner table.

Aladdin.

Seriously guys. My dreams have been so good lately! Last night it started out as me being a dog. Then I was eating this chocolate. (It was a white chocolate reese's peanut butter egg. So Good!)

And then! It suddenly transformed into this wicked awesome remake of Aladdin! So cool. I need to talk to Disney, for reals.

I was a Genie. It was great. Now I need to go back and finish that series that Reyna introduced me to, Children of the Lamp, I believe?

-I'll do some real blogging later.

B: Buzzes.

Yes please.

A: Arabic

What are all those little squiggles? Well...

"God is the Light of the Heaven and Earth. The parable of His Light, is, as it were, that of the niche containing a lamp: the lamp is [enclosed] in glass, the glass [shining] like a radiant star [a lamp] lit from a blessed tree – an olive tree that is neither of the east nor of the west – the oil whereof [is so bright that it] would well - nigh give light [of itself] even though fire had not touched it: light upon light! God guides onto His Light him that wills [to be guided]; and [to this end] God propounds parables unto men, since God [alone] has full knowledge of all things."

Guess what, it actually says something:

"The water runs rapidly below the ships' bellies, screeching noisily against the tar and solid planks. They swim in it with their bows cutting through the gale. Though if an elephant was driven into it, he'd stop in fear. The masters may have to take them trough straits where the waves hit rapidly against the sides, rushing past them as a herd of camels may be rushed by an astute herder."

It's gorgeous. Well, not when I speak it, but I love it.

And now I'm coveting once more. A print of the first picture would be a dream.

Maybe.

maybe i stole this from rockstar diaries.

maybe i haven't done anything today but read.

maybe i check blackboard everyday waiting for my classes to show up.

maybe i am a bit disappointed i won't have calvin with me in golf class.

maybe i took a nap at 2:30 yesterday, and didn't wake up till 11:30.

maybe i was a little proud of my brother when he suggested that we watch x-files since i couldn't go back to sleep for the night.

maybe i am reading forever amber.

maybe i am loving how skanky it is.

maybe i never wear matching socks. most of the time it just happens, but other times i do it on purpose.

maybe i wish i were a ballerina instead of a gymnast.

maybe one of my biggest regrets is not learning how to play an instrument growing up.

maybe i eat too much. when i'm bored, nervous, sad, and whenever i want to remember how good food tastes.

maybe i have another cavity, but am waiting till next year to get it fixed, so then it's covered by my insurance.

maybe i hate my job.

maybe i think some of my friends are being dumb and rushing into things. but hey, it's their life. right?

maybe i love to eat raw potatoes.

maybe i prefer to sleep without a pillow.

maybe i don't like my haircut right now.

maybe i want my wardrobe to consist of overalls and dresses. that's it. no pants.

maybe i'm going to miss reyna when she leaves. a lot.

maybe i really wish i were going with her. if we're moving before next fall, when will i get another chance?

maybe i wish i hadn't gotten back on facebook.

maybe i'll cut it off again.

maybe i should shower.

Kazu Kibuishi

Oh my gosh. I want every one of these beautiful pictures. They sell them in inexpensive prints, but the problem is, I don't have anywhere to decorate right now. *cough* christmas/birthday idea *cough*

Kazu's blog, store, and the books I want.

post a day.

I can do it! Right? Okay, well have faith little ones.

Today I felt like I went to Hogwarts. I wrote a list of goals for today, this weeks, this month, this school semester, and life. It was EIGHT ft long! Mind you, it was on receipt tape, but whatever.

I am possibly bored with life right now. Nothing exciting is happening. Nothing new. How do I shake things up?

things.

that make me happy:

-in order of the amount of joy it brings to me (excluding the church and things pertaining to it)-

[in jerusalem, where i will be in one year and one month]

1. clouds
-remember how clouds always make me happy? no matter what. no? well, they do. sorry scully and mulder, but if God made me chose between you or these airborne water molecules, i would choose the latter. no contest. especially when they accompany lightning.

2. nienie

ironically, she's probably the one that makes me cry the most. but when she updates her blog, man oh man, do i get excited.  go through the archives and read everything. if you do not cry, you do not have a heart.

3. biking or walking to places i need to be

not just because i still don't have my license. i kinda like the feeling that i don't need a car to get around. also, it feels good when i get off my bike and by legs are about to collapse.

4. finding out that my ideas can really happen. once i get the money that is.

bam. a natural pool that is filtered by the plants around it. if i want, i can even put in fish and turtles to swim with me and to keep away the mosquitos.

5. friends who do not kick me out of their home.

especially one individual that has told me many times that they do not like people invading their family time. so thank you friend for being my safe haven for the summer. i would be more of an emotional wreck right now if it weren't for you and your family. seriously. i love you all. you are all amazing, and i love how close of a family you are. am i jealous? definitely. have i pulled habits and traits that i see around your house and stored them in my file of what to do when i run the show? of course.  so thanks for allowing me to invade, and giving me somewhere i can feel at peace, accepted, and loved 24/7.

#5 probably should've been higher on the list, but then i wouldn't have such a good note to end on.

peace.

postsecret.

Karena first introduced us when I was in tenth grade.

People send in their secrets on handmade postcards.

Frank then posts his picks online.

Thousands of people read it on Sunday.

You can check the counter on the bottom of the webpage if you don't believe me.

I might stay up until 2 am or so every Saturday night to see the new Sunday posts.

I also check back every other day to see what comments other readers have left.

I have wanted to send a postcard in for a while now, but am scared to do so for fear that Frank will not post it.

Sueños.

So last night I had some fun dreams.

Well actually, the first one was no bueno. I was at some park/pond with Alexia and we were walking around, and randomly we encountered Death (Harry Potter's finally catching up with me). Yeah, it went down hill from there.

But the second was much better. Reyna and I were were on the BYU campus and we were playing with some lady's kid and her dog. It was just happy and fun. I also dreamt that I didn't have any classes on Tuesdays and Thursday, which was close to being true. (I only have one)

I can't wait to be back. Ehhhhh.... I'm so excited to decorate my room! I know it says not to paint anything, but I might just be a little rebellious and do it anyway. You can always cover it up, right?

Last night I also bought an avocado, and while I was cutting it, Spencer looks over and says, "why is there a meatball in it?"

He's so cute, and they're so yummy!
