quote of however-long-I-feel-like:

Suppose we have only dreamed, or made up, all those things - trees and grass and sun and moon and stars.

Suppose we have.

Then all I can say is that, in any case, the made - up things seem a good deal more important than the real ones.

Temple.

I JUST GOT MY RECOMMEND!!! I'm so excited.

Now when I go to the temple during the week, I won't feel useless just sitting there. I can finally go inside! Although... look how peaceful and stunning it is at night.... :)

Say "Hi" to Moroni!

On Tuesday I went during the day and did my Book of Mormon homework... The sunset turned it to shining gold. Maybe I should get a picture of that.

So basically, if you have any names that need to be baptized, let me know...

Hehe.

I jumped from the tree of wisdom onto a rock that I didn't see.
I looked like a total loser the next day. You try walking without stepping on the bottom of your foot .
Oh, that'd be my foot.

Okay, pics of nasty milk contest below!

My bad.

So, I meant to update at least once a week... but I didn't. Sorry.

I've been working, and it's a blast. I love it. I make pasta, and my uniform is hilarious! I'll upload a picture next week. I've got to say that my favorite class is golf. We haven't actually worked on driving yet so I'm kinda scared to go and play a round.

My next favorite class is Pearl of Great Price, my teacher is what people would call a gentle giant. HE'S FREAKING HUGE!!! But he is a great story teller.

Time to address the rumors of a boy...

There was potential, but then I got really bored/annoyed.

The end.

On Wednesday the guys found out I had pepper spray, and they voted that Dallin should be the one sprayed. Well, they tried his arm and the results weren't extreme enough for them, so he decided to spray his hand and lick it.

If you can't see it, his tongue is bright orange.

Much better. This then inspired them to order a taser (what's with guys and pain?) from a website I found. So in about 4 business days, I should have some awesome videos to upload. They all want to try it on themselves. Idiots.

Friday night I was walking to the creamery by Heritage with a friend to get apple juice when a car with a ton of people pulled up, and said we should hop in. First, we knew they were kidding, and there wasn't any room anyways. Well it turns out they weren't kidding, so we got in. 14 people in a 5 passenger car. Wow. We went around the block , and then split before the po-po got too close. They then invited us to go cow tipping... we drove around in separate cars for like 2 hours. But no luck, we only found sheep and horses. We went to their place and we had a bacon party at Wyview. They are crazy.

We beat Wyoming so badly on Saturday it was boring. I left early, realized that I had locked myself out of my dorm, and went to Heritage to chill with some guy friends (one of which looks like Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off). They found out I had brought my wii, so they demanded that I go get it. Which I did after I interrupted my RA's nap. We played Super Smash Brothers, and after Kyle went undefeated for 20 rounds in a row, we switched to Mario Kart. It was fun.

I went home before midnight, hoping to get some sleep... But at 10 I got a call saying there was a gallon chugging challenge going on at Heritage at 10:30.
How can you pass up an opportunity of watching 6 guys vomit a gallon of milk? It was nasty.
They used trash bags and held them up when they were finished... So much milk... It smelled rancid.
The bags spilled a couple of times... Let me say, I'm glad I'm not living in Whitney Hall... ugh.

Later tonight I should be going to family dinner at the Jex's. Anne makes amazing rolls!

That's about it for now. I'll try and keep up with this.

The Requested Update.

So school's started. I love all my classes. Well... Maybe not calculus, I don't think I could ever love that course from the fiery depths of Hades. I think Golf would have to be the most entertaining class. :) Especially if you're watching me attempt it. I love the library. Especially the Religion and Genealogy section. A bunch of old, quiet people... They're awesome. I've got the routes planned out pretty well from one class to the next now, and I'm only late to Golf because it's so far away from everything else. This Saturday is the game against UCLA, and a freshmen dance. My room's a little messy... reminds me of back home. :)

I've been meeting a TON of people. I feel so bad though, because as I learn 1 new name, my brain forgets 2.  Uchdorf and Packer came to the Marriott Center on Saturday for the Regional Conference. My burn is now scabbed over. (and nasty looking) I went for a walk the other night, thinking I would run into the Creamery, instead I found the MTC and the temple. And right now I'm tired, so goodnight all!

Oops.

So... I tried to make pizza using the oven in the basement...

First Day! :)

These are pics from the convocation.

This is for you Mom.

And this is the path I thought led to my first class...

Instead, I found ducks.

After about 35 minutes of wandering, yes, I did find my way to class.

This is my Door.

So, I loved all of my professors so far. I accidentally skipped a class today without realizing it, but it worked out, he's a really nice guy and wasn't upset. I am so excited!!!

(Don't worry Mom and Dad, I already finished my homework)
