quote of however-long-I-feel-like:

Suppose we have only dreamed, or made up, all those things - trees and grass and sun and moon and stars.

Suppose we have.

Then all I can say is that, in any case, the made - up things seem a good deal more important than the real ones.

R: Reyna

Dear Reyna,

Last week I was texting while walking home. It was quite a humorous conversation, and Calvin can be very entertaining. However, a stupid tree decided to block my path and run into me. The idiot. So after my face made the abrupt acquaintance of said tree, I hurried on my way. The next day I had a second run-in with the same tree, but departed by giving him a nice, firm kick.

So, last night I went upstairs in the complete dark looking for my computer charger. I remembered having left it by the kitchen table. Not wanting to wake up the kids, I left the lights off. I felt around with my foot in the dark. Having located my charger, I bent down to pick it up. Instead of reaching my goal, I encountered a loud BANG and a bright flash of white light. Immediately I put my hands to the source of screaming pain and feel a sort of dampness. I run to the light switch, flip it on, and find my hands covered in tears and blood. Wonderful. Turns out a wooden chair had jumped out from under the table and bit my eye. I couldn't see out of it for an hour. Thought I was blind. For reals. Stupid karma for kicking that tree.

Also, just now, I forgot that I had a nice gash on my eyelid, had an itch, and mindlessly brought back the sharp pain.

Basically, I'm an idiot.

things.

that make me happy:

-in order of the amount of joy it brings to me (excluding the church and things pertaining to it)-

[in jerusalem, where i will be in one year and one month]

1. clouds
-remember how clouds always make me happy? no matter what. no? well, they do. sorry scully and mulder, but if God made me chose between you or these airborne water molecules, i would choose the latter. no contest. especially when they accompany lightning.

2. nienie

ironically, she's probably the one that makes me cry the most. but when she updates her blog, man oh man, do i get excited.  go through the archives and read everything. if you do not cry, you do not have a heart.

3. biking or walking to places i need to be

not just because i still don't have my license. i kinda like the feeling that i don't need a car to get around. also, it feels good when i get off my bike and by legs are about to collapse.

4. finding out that my ideas can really happen. once i get the money that is.

bam. a natural pool that is filtered by the plants around it. if i want, i can even put in fish and turtles to swim with me and to keep away the mosquitos.

5. friends who do not kick me out of their home.

especially one individual that has told me many times that they do not like people invading their family time. so thank you friend for being my safe haven for the summer. i would be more of an emotional wreck right now if it weren't for you and your family. seriously. i love you all. you are all amazing, and i love how close of a family you are. am i jealous? definitely. have i pulled habits and traits that i see around your house and stored them in my file of what to do when i run the show? of course.  so thanks for allowing me to invade, and giving me somewhere i can feel at peace, accepted, and loved 24/7.

#5 probably should've been higher on the list, but then i wouldn't have such a good note to end on.

peace.

Bleh.

So, after all of my hard work, of not getting sick.... it turns out I am. I was thinking about it, and why is it that a lot more people get sick during the winter?

So... I carved a pumpkin on Friday. On  one side is Marvin the Martian (I know... it's a little hard to tell, but whatever) It looks better in the daytime.
And on the other side, it's a star!

I also went to Wal - Mart (I'm sorry dad, please don't hate me)  and got this amazing costume from the boys section!!!
Unfortunately they won't let me wear it at work on Halloween. Well, they said I just couldn't wear a mask. Now, how can you be batman without a mask? Lame, I know.  Let's see, well, I don't have any other tests until November, which is good, seeing as how I can't think straight now.  Um.... tomorrow is Saturday! And I'll be going with a girl from work to The MOA. I hope I can find some drugs before then so I don't completely gross her out. I've been craving Disney movies like no other, and I think that YouTube  being blocked is not helping. The Lion King, The Newsies, Oliver and Company, Fox and the Hound... trust me, the list goes on.... Well, I have to go shower and get ready for the day. Last picture:
On Friday I went to Red Robin with some friends from work, one of whom is Rachel here. She's crazy and I love her.

Anyway, you guys have a wonderful day!!
